Spacious, clean apartment with good WiFi and a good shower. Located in the center of town, within walking distance to bars and restaurants. There are three balconies, one with a great view of the city and hills. Close by is a cable car that takes you to Monte gardens, a must-visit destination. The host was welcoming and provided us with contact details of a local tour guide who took us on some fantastic trips. The famous market is just minutes away and worth a visit.

The double bed could have been more comfortable and the apartment was quite noisy, especially at night due to the busy location. The constant noise from passing cars and motorcycles made it difficult to sleep.

The Old Town Apartment in Funchal offers incredible city and mountain views from its balcony. I couldn't help but be mesmerized by the breathtaking scenery while sipping on my morning coffee. It truly made my stay extra special.

Personally, I found the private bathroom with a bath or shower a bit small. But hey, that's just me.

The garden in front is great for people-watching, while enjoying the beautiful views of the mountains and sea. The building is classy and elegant. Carolina, the host, is attentive and friendly. The location is perfect with plenty of bars, restaurants, and shopping options nearby.

Oh, how I adored the noise from the bars at night. It was the cherry on top of my stay.
